Welcome to the Admissions Department at Eastwood International School in Beirut!
We want to ensure that any local or international move to our school, for students and families, goes as smoothly as possible. Use the resources on this page to apply for nursery, kindergarten, elementary school (IB-PYP), Just rearrange it from the dropdown or high school, and the IB-DP, including Section Française.

At Eastwood International School in Beirut, we believe that happiness at school translates into well-rounded students who take pride in their social, behavioral, and academic capabilities. We strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where students and parents become part of our family.

  • Your application will be processed upon receiving the following documentation (listed below) and after an on-boarding interview with the parents. The student(s) will sit for an evaluation test.

    1. The completed application form as well as the following forms:
    bus form, medical form & EIS Photo Release form. All forms can be picked up after the school on-boarding interview, or sent via email;

    2. An evaluation test for students from Grades 1 to 12; an interview will be conducted for EY students (nursery, KG1, KG2) both sections (English/French);

    3. A photocopy of vaccination booklet is compulsory for Grades 1-5;

    4. Official transcripts* from the last three years including the current year or progress reports for Early Years candidates (if applicable);

    5. Two passport size photos (Grade 1-12) and four passport photos for EY (nursery-KG2);

    6. One copy of the Lebanese ID card for students joining the Lebanese program. A copy of the foreign passport for students joining the IB/American program;

    7. An official document from the school, certified by the Ministry of Education attesting to a students’ successful completion of the previous academic year;

    8. A non-refundable application processing and testing fee of $100 per family;

    ATTENTION!
    *Student candidates for Grades 2 to 12 applying from outside of Lebanon, must certify their transcripts from the Lebanese Embassy or Consulate in the country they are leaving.

  • If parents neglect to disclose any information regarding their child's previous diagnosis or treatment for developmental, speech, learning, social-emotional, or physical disabilities, and this information is discovered subsequent to the student's enrollment in the school, the school reserves the right to refuse acceptance or request the student's withdrawal from the institution.

    In such cases, no refund of any tuition or fees paid to date will be provided by the school. Open and transparent communication regarding a student's medical and developmental history is crucial to ensure the appropriate support and accommodations are provided for their educational journey.

Questions Parents Ask About Admissions

  • We accept applications throughout the year, with no application deadline. Contact our team about the intended start date and the programme you are considering. An application still needs to complete the relevant review and assessment process.

  • Students applying to Grades 1-12 take an evaluation test. Children applying to Nursery, KG1 or KG2 have an interview instead. Parents also take part in an onboarding interview.

  • Yes. Families moving from abroad can begin with the online application and contact admissions about their circumstances. Applicants for Grades 2-12 coming from outside Lebanon need transcript certification from the Lebanese Embassy or Consulate in the country they are leaving.

  • Yes. Our PYP includes English and French sections. Tell admissions about your child's previous schooling and language background so we can explain the relevant options. Language pathways should be discussed for the specific school stage you are applying to.
